Heroes of Newerth

About a week ago, I've never heard of the game called "Heroes of Newerth" before. Before we start, let's just stick to the abbreviation of HoN for the sake of simplicity.

To all you guys out there who were like the me last week, HoN is in fact a standalone game based on our all time favourite game: DotA.

Timex Expedition Watch Bands

The developers behind HoN are in fact old developers for DotA, led by Guinsoo. Guinsoo passed the task for the development of DotA to Icefrog several years back. As such, HoN is no second rate copy of DotA, something most of you citizen out there would try to conclude.

At first, I was request this question: why is there a need for HoN? The reply was in fact quite right forward. HoN is aimed to fix several problems which are recurring and remain unfix due to the Warcraft Iii game engine.

Traditionally, the game is spoiled once a player is disconnected while the game. HoN fixes this question by allowing the disconnected player to naturally reconnect. Network disconnection will no longer be a question in the future. Additionally, HoN offers a leaver protection system.

Previously, sore losers would just leave the game, intentionally spoiling the game. A player's history on HoN is recorded, as such players with a bad history would naturally not be allowed on inescapable games. HoN also effectively eliminates the use of cheat programs which abuses the loopholes in the current Warcraft Iii engine.

With the growing DotA community, the development of HoN is in fact timely and most welcomed.
